The cute little cub came to the world in February this year, and it’s big enough to say “hello” to Richmond locals and tourists. The proud mom Omai is now at exhibit alongside her cute cub.
The employees at the Richmond Zoo explain that bear cubs need a lot of time to develop — their weight doesn’t exceed a single pound, they are pink, and don’t have a lot of fuzz. After approximately six weeks, cubs are ready to open their eyes and start to learn how to move around.
Little cab Ramsey and her mom Omai welcome the visitors of the zoo every day till 1 p.m. After their exhibit comes to an end, Ramsey’s father Ginseng, takes their place under the spotlight. A happy bear family waits for your visit, so be sure to greet them soon.
